She said hewas a happy-go-lucky boy. He lived just outside Rockfield and you could always hear him whistling and singing as he walkedinto town. ..The people here in Rockfieldplanted a tree in his memory in the1920s. Since then the Rockfieldcommunity, with assistance fromthe Carroll County Historical Society, erected a big plaque by the tree, in 1982, telling about HarryBohannon losing his life.
