TEACHERS ANDWorked at high school three days aiding Fairfield motoristsOver 70 teachers and pupils took part in the huge task of register- j ing an estimated 1519 Fairfield residents making application for gasoline rationing coupons at the high school last week.More than 70 more teachers also j worked in the rural schools, and in other towns in the county.The registration was carried out in an efficient manner last Thursday. Friday and Saturday. The teachers and pupils all volunteered their work which was greatly appreciated by members of the ration board. |Miss Helen Winn. Norma Parcell, Mildred Smith and Mary Evalyn Summers The registration for gasoline rationing prompted many Fairfield and Jefferson county residents to turn in their •‘extra'* tires Over 1000 were delivered to the local express office prior to and during the three-day registration.
