Akers received appointments as corporals; from those called on September 19th, Harry J. Bopp and John W. Miller were' appointed sergeants and John Cf. Harman and Walter H. Richardson, corporals.(Sergeant Bopp has the position of first sergeant in the Machine Gun Company of the 317th Regiirietrt. CorporaL Hanr^an is a member of the regimental band.Private Charles J. Morgan was recently transferred tlt;o the 505th Service Battalion, «Whefe he will rank as a corporal.
