And yet if we can look adown the centuries to came we shall realize that out of the great sacrifices of this giant struggle there will come good in many1V*VQ.The people of America will never forget the part played in this war by the brave hoys who hared their breasts to the storm of battle, many of whom sleep beneath the soil of France or beneath ocean’s waves, nor those of equal bravery who were fortunate enough to be spared the su-prerae sacrifice. First to those who gave their.all and then to those who were willing to give their all a grateful re-, public owes the deepest homage of affection.The allied soldiers of the world and the people of allthe allied countries have done their full duty. No com-•parisons of bravery or devotion or sacrifice need lie made.
