Taylor county’s (juo'ta for this call was thirtynine, but one failed to report until the first of the week, and ■he was then sent to Camp Dodge to complete the ciun'ta.The hoys entrained on the noon train and a large crowd of people from all parts of the county was at the depot to see them leave. On the same train were two coaches, containing 00 drafted men from Nodaway county, .Missouri.The 'Paytor county hoys were ordered to report to the local board last Friday afternoon at 3:00 .o’clock, .when they were made soldiers of the rjuited States army, and after receiving instructions they weire released until .Saturday morning, when they again reported at the court house, when, they v.ere- divided into groups and a leader for each group appointed, alsi a captain was chosen to lake charge of the hoys until they reached the training camp.
