Held Pilot's Health 'Good'WASHINGTON lt;AP—Secretary of State Christian A. Herter said Friday “we have been assured”! that spy pilot Francis G. Powers,! now being held in the Soviet Union, is in good health.He made the report to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee j when asked about the flier whose plane went down deep in the U.S.S.R. May 1. The U. S. Embassy in Moscow has asked to see Powers but Herter said it has not yet obtained permission from the Soviet government.
