Lineman Is KilledOSKALOOSA. — Ronald McCurdy, 38, of New Sharon, was killed at 3 p. m. Wednesday whenhe fell from an electric power pole while working on the line about five miles east of Bussey,McCurdy, an employe of the Iowa Pow?r A Light Co., is reported to have fallen head first a distance of 25 feet to the ground after his spikes had slipped and thrown him in contact with hot” wires.He is survived bv his wife and three small children.The body was brought to the Wileox-Oarland funeral home here.
