CASTALIA — A silk American flag is to be presented to the Congregational Church during services Sunday morning by officers tf the Castalia Women’s Relief Corps, Members of the Corps are to attend the services at 11 a. m. Sunday as part of their Memorial Day observance. Presentation of the flag will be in observance of the 52nd anniversary of institution of the corps in Castalia.A wooden standard to hold the flag has been constructed by Lynn Rogers, who is donating the fixture to the church in memory of his mother, Mrs. Lydia Rogers, a former member of the W. E. C, Mrs. Lydia Bixby, only charter member remaining in the corps, Is expected to be a guest at the services.Dr. Seldon C, Dickinson, pastor, will have as his sermon topic at the services “What We Call To Remembrance”.
