a. V* . I' I «Der taught country school and then took a year’s medical work at the Iowa State University at Iowa City. Later 'he was graduated from the Marion Sims College at St. Louie, Missouri. Dr. Fraser began practice In 1883 and practiced In Lu-Veme arid Corwtth for 18 years. He came to Algeria in 1808 And began the practice of medicine which has continued- here for the past 82 years with the exception of the time spent in the United States Medical Corps during the World War.Married LuVerne OlrlIn 1894 Dr. Fraser was married to Miss Rosa Scott at LuVerne; who survives him, together with their three children, R. Scott Fraser of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, Eleanor, of Alpena, who is editing tha Up and Down the Street” feature in the Algona .Saturday Shopper and Dr, Walter A, Fraser of Rochester, N. Y.In his 32 years of practice In Algona, Dr. Fraser gained a wide acquaintance and many friends, who came to know of his greet devotion to his noble profession and his sincere effort to do what he could to alleviate the sufferings of humanity. Dr, Fraser was a great student and kept up his studies until the end. He took special work In Chicago hospital in eye, esr, nose and throat and' specialised in this branch of the profession. After the World War he took special work at the graduate school of the University of Pennsylvania, and at Jefferson hospital, Philadelphia, Fa,, and made a special study of broncoscopy under the famous Dr. Chevalier Jackson at Jefferson
