TWO REPORTED BEING HELD AS JAP PRISONERSPORT CLINTON, May 21— Capt. Harold Collins and Technical Sergeant Joseph 'Hrupcho,who left here in 1940 as members of the Port Clinton Tank company have been reported as prisoners of the Japanese government in the Philippine Islands.Capt. Collins is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Collins. La-Carne, and at the time of leaving was a second lieutenant and latermade a captain in charge of a tank unit prior to the fall of Bataan. His wife, Gertrude Collins is reported as having received inform mation of her husband being aprisoner in the Philippines.Sgt.. Hrupcho is the son of Mrs. Mary Hrupcho, here, and was a member of the Port Clinton Tank company a number of years. His mother is reported as having been notified by the War Departmentthat her son was being held a prisoner by the Japanese government.
