Headed by Ed Keyes of Oklahoma City, regional director, the group expressed pleasure in the steps already taken by Denton in USO work and for the various means of entertainment provided.Others in the party were Miss Anna Corrigan of the women’s division of the National Catholic Community Service, Lieut,-Colonel Wm. O, Gilks of the Salvation Army, Edwin W. Cooper of the Y. M C. A. and Raymond Fors-burg of Wichita Falls, field representative of the Federal Security Administration.'I The officials came here with a group of Denton delegates, who had attended a district USO meeting in Gainesville, where the regional officials had conferred with Denton and Marietta, Ok., representatives with regard to USO work in connection with the Army camp nowr under construction near Gainesville, Representing Denton at the meeting were Mayor Lee Pres-. ton, Mrs. Louise McCue.
