Son Of Former Resident MissingSta T Sgt. John Franco, son tfMrs. Bertha Mullarkey Franc , formerly of Tipton and a nepl -cw of Charlotte Fox, of Tipton, is reported missing following a raid over Romania, according to word * received here. IBs home is in Lancaster, Ohio.Sgt. Franco, a tail gunner on a B-L'4 bomber, has been missing since April 21. 'He had been stationed at an air base n Italy since late in February or ‘ March and had left the United States in December, 1943. He had enlisted in the air corps cn September 13, 1941, after receiving training at Kessler field. Miss., and at other fields in Cel- j ! orado, New Mexico, Nevada and Texas.
