Dalton of the Huntington FBI office today announced the arrest in Charleston i of Edgar Robert Loring, 20, on a j charge ot illegally claiming citizenship in the United States.Dalton said that Loring, a native of Germany, had entered theU. S. in 1930 and had registered as a German alien on Feb. 28, 1942. ;Subsequently, Dalton said, Loring indicated to his draft board* that as an alien he objected to service in the U. S. armed forces and he was rejected by the army. He also stated to FBI agents that he had no desire to become a citizen of the United States.
