Forrest, United Press! 1IStaff Correspondent.PARIS, May 10.—Five hundred “Old Glories” are fluttering on French battlefronts today.t VjThe enemy in his trenches “across j' the great divide” does not have to (*strain his eyes to see the stars and i stripes flapping the breeze on the j most conspicuous parts of five hun- j dred ambulances of the American am- ! bulance field service, now with the! French armies. \Driving the ambulances, literally composing the advance guard of the American armies preparing to fightthe Germans, are five hundred young j*Americans from almost every state in the union. From now on the | American ambulance service is pre-1 pared to augment its army of ambulances by one section a week—from j 25 to 30 Ford cars in a section. As ; a car rumbles away from the Paris : headquarters at 21 Rue Raynouard, an American flag is firmly fixed on ! the top where the enemy will have ! no difficulty in seeing that he is now fighting more than the famous French 1 tri-color on those parts of the front j held by the French.| The first section to carry the flag j to the front was commanded by A.!
