INorwich Branch of Service League to Co-operate With Navy League.The National League for Woman’s Service met In their headquarters In the Thayer building Tuesday afternoonand transacted an interesting meeting with Mrs. John D. Hall presiding.Mrs. Ozias Dodge gave an interesting talk on what has been done in Flushing relative to the conservation of waste paper, and it is the intention of the local league to do wofk here on a similar basis. The general scheme or outline of the work to be done here is the dividing of the town into dis-! tricts, each district to be in charge of I a lieutenant, who will be responsible I to the captain. Arrangements will soon be made whereby wool can be sold at the league headquarters in the Thayer building at cost price and at the samp time directions will be given out.The league rooms are open Monday.
