: J «Kraus Grants One Hit When Moose Defeat Barr SquadWith Ralph Kraus giving up but one hit and fanning 11 batsmen in six innings, the Moose defeated the Barr Rubber club in last night’s City League game at Huron Park, 5-0.The winners collected five hits off Meade, including a home run by Jimmy Ernst.The Moose didn’t wait long to start scoring. Ernst walked. Hammond singled to score Ernst, and then went to third on Dickman’s overthrow. Brown then singled sharply, to score Hammond.A walk, a couple of infield outs and an error added another tally in the second.Meade donated the next ryn when he walked Coyle in the fourth with the bases loaded.Ernst, the first man up in the fifth, slammed a terrific homer to left center to end the scoring.Tonight, Demma’s the I. A.
