The YMCA, in co-operation with the USO, has opened a dormitory of 20 beds for use by service men passing through the city, or in the city on a pass* Beds and towels will be furnished free to men who wish to stay overnight or who may be in the city on three-day pass, such as men from Vigo Plant, Chemical Warfare Service. The room and shower facilities have been inspected by Lt. Col, Frank R. Johnson, commanding officer of the post south of the city, Capt, W. A. Hughes, and Capt. O. Aisen. The committee appointed by Beniamin Blumberg, president of the USO Council, to provide the facilities, included C. J, Kolsem, chairman, Miss Lena Reading, Capt. J. T. Ashworth, and Lt. Earl Crabfelder of Vigo Plant, Chemical Warfare Service, and M. H. Tofsted.
