This feeling is plainly shown in the notice we publish below. Those who can remember the men whose names are signed to that warning will realize they meant what was said in the brief caption. The story, in brief, is that a certain man who had served in the Rebel army came to Kittanning to visit friends.IcHe cut his visit short when he re-reived the warning, Suppressing the name of the man, and calling him by another name we publish the warning and the signatures of the men who attached their names to it. Many of them have passed to their reward, but a number are still living. Here is the warning:Kittanning, Pa., July 20th, 1865.Mr John Doe:Late Colonel and Acting Brigader General in the Rebel Army.Sir;—Your presence in Kittanning, is considered an Insult to our loyal citizens.
