Leonard Michael “Lenny Fosdick, 68, of 219Sussex Dr. NE, died Sunday, May 1, 1994, in his home of pancreatic cancer. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Pius X Catholic Church, by the Rev Donald Klein and Monsignor Edmund Becker. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, with military graveside services. Friends may call from 1:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Teahen Funeral Home, where there will be a rosary at 6 and prayer serviceat 7 p.m. today.Survivors include his wife,Dolores “D0D0”; two daugh ters: Michele Westrope, husband Jerry and daughter, Angie Shevik of Leawood, Kan.; and Anita Robledo, husband Mike and daughters Denise and Melissa of Downey, Calif.; four sons: John, wife Connie, and two children Amanda and Joe of Marion; Jim, wife Janet, and three children Jenny,Jamie and John; and Mike and Tom Fosdick, all of Cedar Rapids; two stepgrandchil-dren: Sheila Westrope Johnson, husband Avery and daughter Hayli of Johnson City, Tenn., and Katrina Robledo Nielson and daugh ter Samantha of Downey, Calif.; three brothers: Richard and wife Bette of Texas City, Texas; Gerald and wife Marion of Maquoketa and Francis and wife Irene of Burleson, Texas; three sisters: Marcella Monaghan of Marion. Kaye Fulrath of Cedar Rapids and Sister Anita of Davenport; and 34 nieces and nephews.; He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lambert and Donald.I Bom Dec. 30, 1925, in Keota, to Charles Alphonsus and Eva Anna Palm Fosdick, he married Dolores Lucille West on Sept. 27, 1952, in Des Moines. He was ai World War II Navy veteran and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Knights of Columbus No. 9t)9 and Cedar Rapids Elks Lodge No. 251 BPOE. He was a longtime IBEW union member and a retiree of Rockwell-Collins after 36 years.! He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was a skilled wood craftsman and the family has for many years enjoyed the fruits of his labor, the beautiful furniture in their home.! The rosary will be conducted by the Knights of Columbus. A memorial fund has been established.Marion Hite, 94. of Northbrook Manor CareCenter, died there Sunday. May 1, 1994, after a short illness. There will be no services or visitation in Cedar Rapids. Memorial services will be at a later date in Berry Memorial Methodist Church. Chicago. Arrangements are with Stewart Funeral Home.! Survivors include his wife, Mildred; and two daughters, Dawn Nylin of Cedar Rapids and Carol Andersen of Arlington Heights, 111.Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
