HAD A CAR LOAD OF DEAD SOLDIERS.iFrom Thursday,s Daily.Wedneday evening the remains of ' Ora Helm, of' Brown's Corner, arrived in the city on Erie train No. 14, Wells Fargo Co. express, and were taken to M. B. Stults’ undertaking establishment.Ora Helm was a private in Co. E. 5th infantry, having inlisted from Colorado. He was drowned while in service in the Philippines November 7, 1901, almost six months ago.This morning the remains were taken to Brown's Corners where the funeral was held at 11 o'clock under the auspices of the I. O. O. F. lodge of which he was a member.When M. B. Stults, the undertaker, presented his order for the remains the express messenger went to a closed car in the train which he opened and which was filled with dead bodies. After some investigation he said he had no corpse for Huntington, but had one for Simpson. It being the remains of Mr. Helm, it was unloaded. The messenger in looking over his list of dead found he had a corpse for Lafayette, which he then transferaed to the Wabash.
