W- Brandon, of Xaco. on ;» charge of criminal libel.A few «U** ago Attorney Hughes, of Oklahoma. arrived in the couut soar and waa closeted with the Assist ant Dlsf rfcf Attorney, and ft is reported that the grand fury yesterday had under con aide rat ion a libel case in which Di. Brandon was alleged to havi- libeled certain stockholders and managers ol the American M. ii r. Co.. who make their residence in Okla-honir City.A few weeks ago Dr Brandon was Indicted by a grand Jury In Oklahoma | Chv on h charge of rritninal libel and the Governor of Oklahoma Issued paper*- on the Governor of Arizona for the extradition of Brandon from this territory. After an examination of the papers the request of the Governor of Oklahoma was refused by Governor Kibbey and the Extradition of Dr. Brandon denied.The article upon which the indictment was found In Oklahoma was a circular letter mailed by Brandon to stockholders of the company and also printed In the Review. In which the actions of the Oklahoma stockholders In the American M. IX company were scored In no uncertain language.
