O'Conor serving for three months. He resigned and entered the regular army in August, 1942.Following his basic training he was sent to the Army Electrical Radio School at Trux Field. Madison. Wis. and graduated as a radio mechanic.In letters to his parents since he was overseas in Africa he has told of meeting CapL Frank H. Thompson, 3d T Liuet. Thomas ijewnes and Staff Sergeant John Allen Coughlin, all of Annapolis.
