Drills have been of weekly occurrence by the scouts for more than six months, and the training under the direction of Lieut McLeod, especially in semaphore signalling, was made apparent at the rally held Thursday afternoon.The service of the Girl Scouts is varied.. and include care of the body, cleanliness, healthy exercise, obedience to orders, keeping the poor from loafing in the streets and the rich from idling away their time in houses.
