John Fuore, 28, was killed din action in Korea on Feb. 14. vi The family had received word (sMarch 3 that Sgt. Fuore was miss- Q ing in action. His parents had requested that he be returned homeilbecause of the serious illness of his1I* Mmother. The request was granted ^ in Washington, but upon seekingo* j him out in the battlefields of Korea c | he was found to be missing.PA graduate of Lenox. School, class of 1941. Sgt. Fuore J^1in the U.S. Navy for fouryears during World War II. Hej was employed for a short time atthe Pittsfield GE following his discharge and then enlisted in the U.S. Army. In Korea he served with the Second Division.(IDuring World War II six members of the family were in military ) service. They were John, Joseph,1 Daniel, Richard, Henry and Julian. ^ The latter was recently called for induction in the Army but was granted a deferment because of his • mother's ill health. Aside from hishndtiparents and brothers, Sgt.
