Morrill of this city, met death in action on Mar. 17, according io a brief me9Bage received by the parentg shortly after noon today,Lloyd L. Morrill was a member of Company M. fie was born in Atlantic Doc. 8f 1898, and had lived hero all hts life. He enlisted April 11, 1917. He had written his parents about three weeks ago. At that time he had not been under fire. He met death in action on last Sunday.Mr. and Mrs. Morrill have two other sons la the service In France. Ray, aged 24, is a member of Company B and Harold, aged 16, a member of Company F, Ray enlisted at Des Moines and Harold at VfULca. Mr. and Mrs. Morrill also have several small children. The family lives on the north side. Lloyd carried |10,000 war insurance in favor of bis parents.Mrs. C. G. Walner went to the Morrill. homelihiB afternoon as Boon as she learned of the death of the boh. She had taken an Interest in the boy and had several times sent him gifts and letters.
