Van Duyn, Class *66, with the 308th Infantry Division, has just been killed in Viet Nam while on patrol duty. He is the son of Col. and Mrs. Roger Van Duyn, 417 Western Ave., Wheaton, 111.Van Duyn was married about two months ago to a girl who is also in the service. He was due to be discharged and sent home after his tour of duty in about three weeks. Jon enlisted in the Army just after leaving Western.
