Pryor Prisoner of War Camp to CloseTULSA, March 8. — (IP) — The prisoner of war camp three miles from the Oklahoma ordnance works near Pryor will be closed and the 1100 German officers interned there will be moved to other sections of the country, it was disclosed today.Rep. George B. Schwabe (R-Okla), in a telegram to the Tulsa Tribune, said he had been advised by Major Howard W. Smith of the war department that the camp definitely would be abandoned. Robert S. Kerr, State Safety Commissioner J. M. Gentry and Senator Elmer Thomas (D-Okla). The camp then had been in^op-i er%ion four months.
