George S. button* Third Army today with the resultant capture of hundreds of prisoners.; All resistance ended late in the afternoon. The historic streets are splashed with the Wood of t the herrenyolk. The ancient churches and Roman structures have been pounded to rubble.Five fires are burning inside the town and the famed old cathedral is in ruins, smashed by bomhs and shells.
