’Bert E. Young, who isastep-aon of Liveryman John F. Young, and who several months ago returned from the Philippines, having been wounded in the left knee, has received notice of his having been allowed a pension of twelve dollars per month with $47.60 back pay. Young enlisted with the U. S. Volunteers at Denver, Col., on May 1, 1898, and was not long in getting all he wanted of the Philippines.
