Silver Stars Are. Awarded To EightWashington—(AP)—Eight Wisconsin men have been awarded silver stars for gallantry in action, the war department announced last night.They included Staff Sergeant Ray bom C. Blank, of R. 1, Wey-auwega; Technician Wilfred D. Evans, of Neillsville; Corporals Paul P. Green, of Fennimore; Ralph C. Harrison, of Beloit; Le-land I». Genthe, of Platteville; Alonso Russell, of Milwaukee; Technician Francis D. Klein, of Lancaster, and Private Lloyd G. Carter, of Montfort.
