Mickeys is third in the National League schedule with a 2-3 slate, i All National Lfegue contests are played Saturday evenings while all American v League -games are played Sunday morning. Other action tonight in the National circuit will pit, Gene’s Court againstPunky's at 6:15 at the South Side lighted field and Chieftin against Fox River at 6:15 at the North Side lighted field.Chieftin is presently third in the loop standings with four victories and two defeats. Rain has hampered competition in the National League thus far this season. Approximately 12 games have been canceled because of rain or wet grounds since the season opened on May 3. Some of these games have been replayed, however.Cliffs, with seven straight victories without a loss, will tackle the Office at 9:30 Sunday morningat the South Side lighted field. American League teams have not been as hard hit by the rain as the National loop as only five American circuit contests have been postponed.Other American League actios will see Leiti’s play Uptown on the North Side lighted field and Parkway tackle Jerry's Colts on Dia-^ moria No. 1 at Menominee Park. Both games are scheduled to be-P° at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. .TIME OUT!
