'Devii' Awaits Abrams in U.S.SAIGON (UPI)—“Devil,” the black Labrador retriever which was Gen. Creighton Abram’s constant companion in Vietnam, has returned to the United States ahead of its master.Abrams, the U.S. commander in Vietnam who will be leaving shortly to become U.S. Army chief of staff, adopted Devil.When the guard unit the dog was working with was returned to the United States, there was no time to do the necessary paper work to bring him home. So Abrams adopted him.
