Port Clinton MenReported Lost AsPrison Shio S inkyaahaPORT CLINTON, June 26— Sergt. John R. Andrews, 28, and Cpl. Howard M. Wodrieh, members of the Port Clinton Tank company have been reported as having lost their lives last Oct. 24. when a Japanese prison ship was sunk by submarine action in the South China Sea. They were captured on Bataan in 1942 and were being transported from the Philippines when the Japanese ship was sunk and several hundred prisoners lost their lives.Sergt. Andrews was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Andrews and attended the local high school. He is survived by his parents; I two brothers, Elmer with the f Navy in the South Pacific and Raymond who is in training at a Navy station in Mississippi, and four sisters.Cpl.
