GAMPS READY FOR SOLDIERSRitchie One Of Three Recreational Spots In Area.Of three 'Array recreational camps which are expected to be opened by July 4, one will be located at Camp Ritchie. Cascade, Md.» it was announced by headquarters. of the 11th Army, Wilmington.Del. *The series of camps is connected with one of the most extensive recreational programs the U. S. Army has ever undertaken.One of the three camps will be located at Arlington, Va., while the third camp, for colored troops, will be built at Ocean Breeze. Va.The two camps for white soldiers will have a capacity of 1,000 men each. Men from Indiantown. Gap and Fort Meade will use these camps. Another camp is being planned for the vicinity of Atlantic City. - Educational tours of the nation s capital will be among facilities at the Arlington Camp.Camp Ritchie has a fine lake where swimming and boating may be enjoyed and it is located in the healthy mountain section-of the Blue Ridge Mountains.- Already •the Army has splendid facilities at Camp Ritchie. .The Army will provide tents, bedding and cots for soldiers in the areas where camps will be located.
