The sti|amcr sprang a leak on Friday night, and caniii very near going down with all on board, as she had six feet of water in her before the lealk was discovered. S. officers yesterday, and the mail matter seifced-. We learn, however, that it, will not be more than three or four days before it will be regularly opened under a newly appointed Postmiister, and thedj. S. postal regulations enfordid.
