Dearman, of %hin countyft were held yesterday Wm the First Methodist church ^'Salisbury, conducted by Rev.W* A, Newell, and interment was Iti^phestnut Hill cemetery there. AWk, Shafer died at the Oteen hoe-fllS! She was a nurse in France during the World War and during Her service there, was gassed while Working with wounded soldiers.• Mrs. Shafer in survived by her htibatid, Dr, I. 13. Shafer, of Salisbury! two sons, Irving and Frank; Her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Dearman, of Harmony; a brother, Mr. C. H. Dear-than, of this city; and a sister, Mr*, Fred Naah, of Charlotte.Burial Monday morning was With military honor*.
