The two had quarreled several days ago, Lee having taken Mrs. luppenlatz to task for flirting with another man when she -was walking with him. Since then they have quarreled almost continuously it is said. Friday night Mrs. luppenlatz loft the place where she was slaying to go out for a walk. She was met by Lee who asked her to go back home. She refused. Lee, It Is said, threw the woman to the sidewalk and shot her. He then pointed the pistol at his own temple, but Instantly changed bis mind and started to flee.
