The weather was ve*y warm ana that fact will account for itThe whole length of Royal street bad, by the foresight of the efficient Commandant of the Post, been thoroughly sprinkled just previous to the commencement of the review, so it Is to him the many spectators on that street were indebted for their persona! comfort in that particular while the column was passing.Some of the colors bore marks of having been carried where balls bad Sown thick as hail, many of them being completely riddled.Chief Justice Chase expressed himself highly pleased at the display, and made some comments very creditable to the officers and men composing the command.
