Officials ReportOn Sewer Job AtHousing Pro jectCity Manager A. J. Lauber reported to the City Commission last night that he and Engineer Russell Smith made a personal inspection of the tapping of sewers from the Fairlawn Court Housing project into the city’s Buehanan-st sewer, and found all work done in a satisfactory manner.Project Engineer Sharpe, in charge of Fairlawn Court, together with his assistants and officials of the contracting firm, in charge of the work, supplied all data to the city officials, they said.All work in connection with the Buchanan-st relief sewer will be inspected thoroughly by the engineering department, Lauber reported.The project is for colored residents in the south end of the city.
