Mitrani and Lloyd Me- t chain who took their master’s degrees ( at the university last year, have given ] up their next year fellowships at the • university, to join the American Red lt;Cross Ambulance Company No. 2, re-1 cently organized at the university. jBoth were Native Sons fellows in j Pacific Coast history and had expected to spend the next year at the uni-; versity. Mitrani has a clerical posi-I tion with the company and Mceham i will be one of the drivers. Both are J' members of the Phronostisterion, the historical honor society of the univer-sity.! The company, comprising 91 men,: will leave within a week, for Allen-j j town, Pa., the national training quar-1 iters of the American Red Cross and j after a few weeks’ training, the com-j panv exnects to be sent to France, to work with the French troops, before the arrival of the American forces. lt;
