Jf.ff Davis.— Among the wonders at theSanitary Fair, in New York, was a rebelblond hound bearing the name of Jeff Davis.The bound, which is about four vears old, was•captured by the Thirty Second Wisconsin Regiment in the recent raid ot Gen. Sherman, at Meridian, Alabama. It was wounded by a gunshot, by which one of its tusks was brokeroU and the tongue nearlv severed. He is saidto be a good watch d-'g at night, but at othertimes gentle.
