Ceres En Route To United StatesMarine Pvt. First classLawrence W. Ceres, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. ceres of 2001 Palm, La Marque, departed Camp Hansen, Okinawa May 22, aboard thetroop transport ship USS Breckenridge, to return tothe United States with hisunit, the 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 3rd MarineDivision.While in the WesternPacific, the battalion was constantly engaged in training, including Jungle and guerrilla warfare, amphibious assault and helicopter vertical assault pending behind enemy lines).He is scheduled to arrive in Hie United States June 12.
