ALGONA GIKL WINS FAME,Mrs. Edith Bowyer Whiffen, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Bowyer, takes High Place in Musical Circles.The Mualoal Leader, a Chicago musical magazine, last week printed a due full'page half tone of Mrs. Edith Bowyer Whiffen, With John B. Miller, a noted tenor singer, Mrs. Whiffen has been giving musical recitals during the past season, and has taken a high place in the musical field. The Leader says of her:Mrs. Whiffen has been a pupil of Hans von Schiller, Budolph Ganz and Ernesto Consolo, and during her years of study has won a prominent place among Chicago musicians. She has been accompanist for some of the moat noted artists visiting America. At every appearance in Chicago of Llate-mann, Sauret and Devries, Mrs, Whiffen was at the piano and she has appeared regularly In ensemble work, at affairs given by the Amateur Musical Club and at concerts of the Chicago Mualoal College, of the faculty of which she is a member. Music critics everywhere predict for her an even blgber measure of success than that which she has already achieved, and the work as assistant to Esnesto Con-solo, recently taken up by this interesting accompanist will no doubt give her a greater popularity than ever,
