STERLING, III.. • June 8.~~Mrs. Mary E. Tebp^.flons a resident here, •and one oC the best known citizens of. this county, died at Colorado Springs,-.’Col,, at 10:40 Llast Friday, night. The. remains -arrived here Monday evening; accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Ahnie Johnson and husband, J. C. Johnson, with, their, son. George. They were taken to the home of .Mr.- and airs. M. A.\O'Neil, and . the funeral services . took place Tuesday . afternoon at the Christian, church, in charge of. Rev. J. B. Graves, of Neosha, Mo., who performed a like service on the .occasion of ‘the burial of Dr. ,G. H. Tebo, husband of deceased, u;ho died in 1888, being at that •time pastor of the Christian church' here. Sir. Graves', wife was formerly Rosalie Perry* a cousin of Mrs. Tebo.Deceased, Mary: Ellen Glenn, eldest daughter and first born of Robert A. and Nancy F.' Glenn, was born at Rushyille, Jan.. 29, 1840; and-her . parents removed to Mt Sterling hi 1856,where she was reared to womanhood and prepared herself for teaching, successfully following that vocation, for. several years in this county. Aug. 7, 1864, she became the. wife of .Dr. George H. Tebo, who soon afterwards located at Cooperstown for . the practice of his .profession. Later the, couple removed to .this city, where, with the exception of a year at Wichita, Kan., they made their home until Dr. Tebo’s death. Three years ago deceased went to Colorado to live with her daughter.H. A. and Fred A. Glenn of this city and Mrs. Matilda C. Miller of Gassville, Ark., are brothers and sis-' ter of deceased., .
