When they arrive they will find a house already assigned, complete with fireplace and other American facilities. Captain Ahrenholz received his Regular Army commission in August of last year. A member of Battery D. 156th Field Artillery, when that group was activated in 1940, Captain. Ahrenholz served in the European Theatre with a Tank Destroyer Battalion of the Tenth Armored Division. He wears five battle stars for action in France. Luxembourg. Germany and the Rattle of the Bulge. During the latter engagement he awarded the Bronz-Star.
