Elmore LaGue received a letter the first of the week from his brother| Harry, who is now located at Camp j Sheridan, Alabama He says they are having some extremely hot weather down there and the sun has tanned him as black as the “ace of spatfee.” The past few days his company has been taking the gas mask test andpracticing with the army rifie9 besides the regular drills. They will next take up trench fighting, Harry says he expects to leave for France within a few weeks.
