Mrs. Gideon Rowden Jr.GREAT BEND - Grace E. Rowden, 80* died June 1, 1986, at Central Kansas Medical Cehter, Great Bend. Born Grace E. Watson June 19,1905, at Cottonwood Falls, she married Gideon Rowden Jr. Jan. 7,1938, at San Antonio, Texas. Hlt;? died April 27, 1977. She was a resident of Great Bend since 1940, moving from Beloit, Wis,She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and the AARP, both of Great Bend.Survivors: sister, Faye Smith, Westminister, Calif.Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the mausoleum in the Great Bend Cemetery, the Rev. Dr. Herman VanArsdale. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Bryant* Christians Funeral Home, Great Bend. Memorials may go to the Central Baptist Church.
