Corbin, Arvin, a marine corps corporal. jCarl Ellis Barnes, son of Mr. and j Mrs. Claude E. Barnes, 1833 Lake street, Bakersfield, a navy water i tender.Norman E. Bussell, son of Mr. and | Mrs. James Bussell, Bakersfield, a navy assistant cook.The navy department did not release details of action involving any of the men, and it was taken for I granted men on duty in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters were included in the casualty list. Among the Californians listed were 9 dead, 13 wounded, and 361 missing.
