Carthage, Mo., July 31.—Edward(Bud) Chapman, 24 years old, chief radioman in a naval bombing squadron, is missing in action, according to information received here by his aunt, Mrs, Charles S« Edwards, 424 Oak street.The information was received from the government by young Chapman’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Chapman of Long Beach,*^ Calif., formerly of Carthage.Young Chapman was born and reared in Carthage and was graduated from the Carthage high school. He enlisted in the navy immediately following graduation,64-Pound Answer.
