Members to Hate Referendum 00Question According; to Notices Sent OutMembers of the Deutscher Verelnhave been asked to vote on thequestion of changing the name of theorganization.The derision to hare a referendumvote on the question was reached at a meeting of the board of directors. In the official notice sent oat to members the board explains the proposition in the following terms:•*The board of directors of the Deutscher Vereln, prompted by the very evident sentiment prevailing among the members, and having in view the best interests of the society, has decided to submit to the members the question of changing the name of the organization. . . . That the result of the referendum may be final, it is suggested that the board of directors be empowered to take actionin harmony with the sentiment ex-wpressed by the majority of the members.”Members of the organization are asked to vote either in the negativeor affirmative on a blank card enclosed.
